A Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) lets students focus their high school courses on a career area they’re excited about. Along with their regular diploma courses, students take a group of related courses, try out the field through co-op, and earn industry certifications. Graduates receive a special seal on their diploma, and an SHSM leads to every path after high school: university, college, apprenticeship or work.
We offer four SHSM programs:
- Arts and Culture
- Business
- Health and Wellness
- Information and Communications Technology
