Sector‑Partnered Experience with Flashpoint
On Thursday, March 26, 2026, forty‑three Grade 11 and 12 students took a major step forward in their SHSM journey during an inspiring Sector‑Partnered Experience with Flashpoint, hosted at the North York Central Library.
The day was designed to immerse students in real‑world learning, blending leadership in action, team‑building challenges, and hands-on activities that strengthened essential 21st‑century skills. With Flashpoint’s guidance, students explored sector‑specific problem‑solving, communication strategies, and collaborative decision‑making, skills that will serve them well in both postsecondary pathways and future careers.
By the end of the experience, participants walked away more confident, more connected, and one step closer to earning their SHSM seal. It was a day that showcased the power of experiential learning and the potential of every student who took part.
