Volunteer Opportunities
19th Annual Kleinburg Food Drive- Volunteers needed
You can get involved in a variety of ways:
• Help with prepping our donation bags – counting bags and stapling our flyer to the bags. This will be taking place
between October 18th to October 24th
• Deliver donation bags door-to-door in Kleinburg before our big event. This will need to be done between October
25th to 29th
• Put out signs around Kleinburg to publicize our event. This will need to be done between October 26 and 28th. A
map will be provided.
You must be able to drive or have a parent drive you around. It is a large area to cover.
• Collection Day: on Saturday November 1st, starting at 9:30 a.m., collect donations door-to-door.
• We also need drivers with their own car to bring the donations to Kline House where the Vaughan Food Bank’s
truck will be waiting. Learn more by reviewing the flyer.
The Fulsang Family is preparing for their 7th annual Food Drive in support of the Vaughan Food Bank. Volunteers
in grades 9-12 are needed on Saturday, October 18th from 9:30 am to approximately 2:00 pm to help in one of two
positions.
The first position is the collection of donation bags. If you would like to collect donations, we encourage you to sign
up in a group of 4, including someone who is able to drive (parent or student) and has access to a vehicle with
ample trunk space (i.e., SUV).
Vaughan Food Bank
The second position is at home base to help unload cars, sort the donations before they are taken to the Vaughan
Food Bank and organize the reusable donation bags.
If you have any questions or if you are interested in volunteering, please don't hesitate to contact Christine Fulsang
at WDFoodDrive@gmail.com . Please include a number where you can be reached.

younger participants at their assigned volunteer booths. Additionally, volunteers may be tasked with greeting
attendees and answering questions about the event, meeting every participant with enthusiasm and care! Learn
