Our story
Woodbridge College opened in 1958 as Woodbridge High School, named after the village of Woodbridge. In 1991 it reopened as Woodbridge College, an academy school with uniforms and a set program for students from across York Region. As the community grew, it returned to being a neighbourhood school for Grades 9 to 12. Today, more than 65 years on, our motto remains the same: Excellence through Commitment.
